Two bentos to report on today!
Lately Thursdays have turned out to be “on the run” days with a late morning yoga class, and then afternoon hang-outage with other moms and babies. I like Thursdays! The timing of the two meet-ups, however, definitely necessitate some lunch packing. Good thing I still love bento!
This was last week’s lunch on the run: not super pretty, but really tasty!
Apparently my egg craving still wasn’t satisfied, despite eating a second (saltier!) soy egg the next day, because over the weekend I decided that a major batch of egg salad was called for this week. The Boy, whose love of egg salad surpasses mine by a hefty margin, was all for it. So that was the basis of this week’s Thursday lunch!
The inclusion of the fruit snacks is something I should do more often, though I often think I won’t have time to wolf them down. Delicious!
While packing this, I found myself half-wishing for a PB&J to tuck in there as well, so possibly that’ll turn up soon in a future lunch. I’m heading to the Hometown next week though, so the routine will be shaken up a little. We’ll see if I manage to sneak in a couple packed lunches!
