Inspired by Amanda, my Ten Good Things for today:
Enough sunny (or at least non-rainy) days this weekend to get three loads of laundry dried outside — and having glorious, delicious-smelling sheets to snuggle into because of it.
Seeing friends over dinner, and leftover baked tastiness the next day. (Don’t worry, Maria; I am well on my way to finishing that bread before I leave!)
Lovely relaxed blue-sky walks with The Boy and our dog (or possibly with The Boy by our dog).
Some upcoming plane time means a chance to get some (very rare these days!) knitting in.
The local ice cream store is open for business again for the warm months! Hopefully I won’t remember that too often…
Seeing brave, happy green shoots in the veggie beds after some nervous planting a couple weeks ago (when it was still cold and drizzly).
Having sewn myself little cloth sandwich bags, looking forward to finding the time to embroider this and maybe this onto them — Gina‘s designs are so adorable, I’m actually thinking of making more bags, just so I can use more of them!
Planning some upcoming girly-time in the Hometown.
Having gotten a full 8 (sometimes 8.5!) hours of sleep every night for the past almost-week. This is something worth celebrating!
The Boy! I am thankful for him in general, but specifically this weekend, he is fantastic for having built me awesome cedar shelving for my greenhouse!
So, let’s keep the positive thoughts for Monday going — what are your Ten Good Things to think about today?
