I’m finding myself a little short on time lately, and horribly backlogged on Flickr. (I’m trying to keep my updates there chronological, so I’m currently mid-August and two weddings behind.) In spite of that, however, I have been taking pictures of stuff, and I don’t want it to be January before I post these so… here there are now — in season.
I separated out all the still-green and just-faintly-orange grape tomatoes into a glass bowl, and The Boy pointed out over the weekend that from afar they look like Easter eggs. They’re destined for green tomato salsa; not quite the same, but hopefully still delicious.
It’s definitely chilly here now; breath is showing up in frosty puffs pretty much at all times except early afternoon. In spite of that, we’re getting the still, low sun that I missed all summer. It’s a really beautiful fall.
